Pork knuckle baked until golden brown

Pork knuckle – 1.5 kg (1 piece)
Beer light – 500 ml
Fresh Rosemary – 4 sprigs
Fresh thyme – 15g
Pepper – 1st. l
Allspice – 1st. l
Salt to taste
Bay leaves – 2-3 pc
Honey – 150 g
Water – 2 liters

Cooking method:

Pork knuckle put in a pan, fill with water and beer, put all other ingredients (except honey) and cook for 2.5 hours (until tender).
For 15 minutes until cooked in the broth put the honey and remove from heat.
Then we shift to the shin tray (pan) and put bake in the Ovens at T 180-200 degrees for 20 – 30 minutes, until lightly golden brown.
Ready knuckle served with stewed sauerkraut and fried potatoes.
Also, as a side dish, you can add pickles, hot peppers and herbs.
Shank served with spicy red sauce, mustard and horseradish sauce.
