Interesting dish of eggs with vegetables, popular in Israel and neighboring countries. Very bright, fragrant, light and at the same time satisfying. Recipe of 4 eggs is for 2 large or 4 small servings.

You will need:

Onions 100g
Vegetable oil 30 ml
Sweet pepper red (paprika) 1 piece
Garlic cloves 2 pieces
Red tomatoes 400 grams
Sea salt 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder ½ teaspoon
Cumin (cumin) ½ teaspoons
Chilli powder ¼ teaspoon
Eggs 4 pieces
Black pepper ¼ teaspoon
Parsley 20 gramsShakshuk.


How to cook:

1. Lightly fry the finely chopped onion.

2. Add the diced bell pepper.

3. When the pepper is tender, add chopped garlic.

4. Tomatoes peel, after dropping into boiling water for 30 seconds, cut into cubes and add to the pan. Season with salt, add spices.

5. When the mixture comes to a boil, take it 4 recess and gently pour into each one egg.

6. Cook over medium heat until eggs are not yet ready (the degree of roasting choose at its sole discretion). Each egg is a little salt and sprinkle with freshly ground black pepper.

7. Serve sprinkled with chopped parsley.
